2024 team poster
During my junior year at Southern Illinois University, I worked directly with the Track & Field coaching staff to design a professional-grade team poster for the 2023–2024 season. The goal was to create a polished, media-day style composition that represented both the athletes and the program’s values of unity and excellence.
This project marked a milestone for me — transforming from a student-athlete into a creative collaborator for my own university’s athletic department. The final design was printed, shared across SIU’s official social platforms, and used throughout the season as the team’s primary promotional visual.

During my time on the Southern Illinois University Track & Field team, I collaborated with a former assistant coach to create a series of event group posters for the 2022-2023 season. The goal was to design visuals that celebrated each event group — Distance, Hurdles, Jumps, Sprints, and Throws — while maintaining a consistent visual identity across all five pieces.
These posters were designed to both showcase the team’s style and serve as a recruiting tool for the university, giving prospective athletes a look into the program’s culture, professionalism, and energy. The unified look and bold, modern aesthetic helped reinforce SIU’s commitment to excellence on and off the track.

Used SIU’s maroon color palette to unify the series while allowing each group to shine individually

Practice Edit
During my recovery period from an injury that temporarily sidelined me from training, I took on the role of documenting team practices through video. I independently filmed and edited this piece to capture the intensity, focus, and environment of daily training sessions. The goal was to highlight the behind-the-scenes work that fuels performance while maintaining a cinematic, grounded tone. This project reflects my ability to adapt, contribute creatively under constraints, and support a team through visual storytelling—even when I wasn’t able to participate on the track.
